I started PPP this year by reflecting on how I left off last year - everything was beginning to become quite motion and interactive-on-screen driven. For example, my OnYerBike submission for 503, and the Monotype brief too.

Final Showreel: Monotype Promoting Expression of Tattoos Project
Reflective of the developing digital world we live in. It seemed that every project I was approaching, and every piece of work I was particularly drawn to all had this moving element which brought the project to life. ]
I was beginning to think about how I am starting to consider how I can reach this new market with interactive design for screen that would fit on social media and all the other digitalised screens which play such a role in everyones lives now.
It was clear how I am wanting to experiment with more of the motion & digital illustration side of design which I love; this is the right direction for me to explore predominantly this year, to then prepare me for potential employment / work beyond uni.
In terms of styles of my work this is not at all limited or restricted, as I know it will develop naturally - but at the moment I am very stimulated by the vectorised and clean illustration styles which are paired with subtle motion or clever use of shadows in movement.
That by the likes of Tom Haugomat:
- interesting introduction of texture and grain

But I am also intrigued by how I can introduce type and image into my animations and go for more of a current, considered / even glitchy design style.
- glitchy, repeated design styles are on-trend.
In terms of my interests and how I aim to work this into my briefs for 603, not much has changed!!
- My love for the dance music industry has grown
- Am very involved in the scene, and up-to-date with the whole design style which surrounds it all.
- Moving flyer designs are becoming more and more popular - definitely something I'm interested in and would want to get involved in.
OVERALL-
- I just plan to keep embracing design through everyday life - billboards, but mostly the web and social media.
- Whilst being more productive with saving and organising what I like to serve as inspiration - aswell as building bridges and starting conversations with artists whom I admire and aspire to push towards
- Aim to get atleast a weeks solid placement at a respected design studio - preferably whom specialise in motion
- Get all my personal branding consistent and representative of me and my personality considering how I want to be portrayed as I approach them/they come across me
- website / portfolio
- business cards? - digital? (emails?)
- Invoice sheet for freelance
- Creative CV?
