In today's session, Alec showed us one of his friends approaches to getting his name out their when looking for jobs. This little intro-animated vid exploiting himself as a motion designer ended up racking up over 30k views on Vimeo and definitely intrigued me as to how I can perhaps create something similar for myself and feature it within my personal branding.

I felt really inspired by doing something like this for myself, but obviously on a slightly smaller scale at this stage of the year.
In his presentation Alec also showed various illustrators and animators who make use of animated drawings of themselves to sit at the bottom of emails - waving or painting, etc (just little characters) to start depicting themselves as a creative and what they're about and their personality right from the beginning of opening your first email from them! It definitely was very fitting for me and could potentially work for 'You've Got Mail' Study Task so I began to consider how I could go about depicting myself and a bit of my confident yet approachable professional personality.
