- how could I merge this page - with my personal branding?!
- how could I merge this page - with my personal branding?!
- to be for both the reflection & featuring of other people’s work..
- aswell as my own work
as my drawing/animation output is going to increase now
I want to promote myself too.
Do features / interviews with local artists too?

Initial Identity
- Firstly, before I started approaching a big lucrative brand identity for the page, I wanted to create something a bit more simple to test it and get it up and running first.
- how am I going to use a specific tone of voice on insta to reach certain markets
- similar to that of - its nice that, but maybe more casual
- an ongoing discussion - start convos - be approachable and interactive?
- see where it goes in a few months and come back to it.
To start the blog I created a very simple ident to be featured on the first 3 posts and also the display picture of the account. This was just to provide the page with some good initial context to get up and running, including something professional and simple for the audience to buy into.
I wanted something classy and different, yet quite simple and efficient to run just as an initial tester - this is where I landed on 'Ryman Eco' as the typeface to use..

- It uses an average of 33% less ink than standard fonts.
Designed by Monotype Type Director Dan Rhatigan, in collaboration with Grey London, the objective was to create the world's most beautiful, sustainable font.
Eco friendly design often means compromise to aesthetic desirability. Mindful of this the ambition for Ryman Eco was to find the optimum balance between saving ink, legibility and beauty. The font has been received positively by environmentalists and the design community alike.
The justifications behind the typeface being so strong - beautiful yet efficient and sustainable - it seemed a perfect fit to start the blog off, aesthetically eye-catching yet friendly to all!
I quickly mocked the keyword form onto some minimal, lifestyle backgrounds to give this initial illusion of a developed brand, and then went about starting to feature artists work I was coming into contact with on a daily routine.
